Took this photo in 2015 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, overlooking Rinconada Canyon.  I wanted to capture the timeless petroglyphs etched into the dark volcanic rocks in the foreground with the city lights of Albuquerque in the distnace creating a warm, golden glow, contrasting beautifully with the rugged, natural landscape. The juxtaposition of ancient history with the modern city lights was a magical experience, making me feel connected to both the past and present.
